IQM is a Finnish quantum hardware manufacturer developing and deploying quantum computers for research institutions and enterprises. The company has recently gained prominence through major installations in the United States and Europe, establishing itself as an active participant in the growing quantum computing hardware sector.

In recent deployments, IQM installed its first U.S. quantum computer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee and collaborated with the European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC) to inaugurate SOL, a 54-qubit quantum computer in Europe. These placements reflect the industry-wide shift from laboratory prototypes to operational quantum systems at leading research centers.
