Chinese-founded neurotech company BrainCo has introduced a system that lets people control robots using their thoughts, debuting it at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2026 in Shanghai.

According to a PR Newswire release, BrainCo billed the system as the "World's First Integrated Brain-to-Robot AI R&D Platform" — in other words, a single toolkit that ties brain-signal reading directly to robotic action, aimed at researchers and developers building the next generation of thought-controlled machines.

The practical promise is hands-free control.
