Qwen

Qwen is a family of large language models developed by Alibaba Group's AI research unit, Tongyi Lab, designed to compete in the global AI landscape across reasoning, coding, and language tasks. Originally focused on text-based applications, Qwen has grown into a broad model ecosystem spanning multiple sizes and modalities, with many versions released for open use by researchers and developers worldwide.

The Qwen series is recognized for strong multilingual capabilities — particularly in Chinese and English — and competitive benchmark performance against other leading model families.
