OpenAI has unveiled ChatGPT Work, a new AI-powered workspace aimed at businesses. According to Fortune India, the platform combines ChatGPT, OpenAI's Codex coding tool and a suite of productivity tools into a single hub designed to help professionals create and complete tasks.
OpenAI is pitching the product at business operations and enterprise teams, per StartupHub.ai. Rather than acting as a simple chatbot, ChatGPT Work is described as an AI agent: an MSN report says it can take action across a user's apps and files and turn a stated goal into finished work. That same report says the agent is powered by GPT 5.6 and Codex, the model family OpenAI markets for engineering teams.
The launch lands squarely in a widening competition for the workplace.
