Anthropic has rolled out a new feature that shows Claude users a personalized breakdown of how they've been using its AI chatbot. Most outlets, including Mashable and Digital Trends, report the tool is called Reflect (or Claude Reflect), while some coverage such as The Tech Buzz frames it as "Claude Wrapped." SQ Magazine describes it as launching in beta.
The concept is familiar. As the Times of India notes, Spotify Wrapped popularized the idea that people will happily hand over a year of behavioral data if you package it back to them with nice charts and a sense of self-discovery. Reflect applies that same yearly-recap format to your chatbot activity, giving users insight into their AI habits — how often and in what ways they lean on Claude.
But TechCrunch argues there's a subtler dynamic at work. In its telling, Reflect doesn't just visualize how you use AI; it "quietly" sells you on it. By surfacing how much of your daily work now runs through Claude, the dashboard subtly reinforces your dependence on Anthropic's chatbot — turning a feel-good recap into a retention tool.
Digital Trends casts the launch more plainly as "your usual yearly Wrapped, but with Anthropic's AI," a sign that the marketing playbook of consumer apps is now standard for AI companies too.
Why it matters: as AI assistants weave deeper into everyday work, features like Reflect show how the same engagement tactics that hooked us on music and social apps are being turned toward chatbots — making the tools that measure our habits also the ones nudging us to keep using them.
