Where the jobs are
- Europe — 1,941 roles (~49%): nearly half of everything tracked. German-language postings are especially visible (Lieferando, Reply Deutschland SE, IU Internationale Hochschule, Bosch, Spryfox).
- United States — 1,183 roles (~30%): heavy on enterprise and cleared/defense work (MITRE, Booz Allen, Deloitte).
- India — 797 roles (~20%): strong in data annotation, data science, and IT-services delivery (Objectways, TekWissen, TCS).
- Rest of world — 33 and UAE — 10: thin for now.
Who's hiring most
Bespoke Labs leads by a wide margin with 184 openings, followed by Capital One (136). After that the volume drops sharply: Reply Deutschland SE (50), Jobgether (47), EnthuZiastic (46), General Motors (41), then SonderMind and Booz Allen Hamilton (38 each), Deloitte (36), IU Internationale Hochschule (35), Tata Consultancy Services (34), and Lieferando (30). The mix skews toward AI labs, banks, consultancies, and automakers.
Common role types
Three titles dominate the sample:
- Machine Learning Engineer — the single most repeated role, from Booz Allen and Faculty AI to Lieferando and ShareChat.
- Data Scientist (incl. Senior/Lead/Principal) — broad demand across US and Europe.
- Generative AI / Agentic Engineer — a fast-growing category, often at consultancies (Deloitte, Exakis Nelite) and sometimes requiring security clearance.
Also recurring: data annotation/NLP labeling roles (India), AI strategist and change-management consulting, and academic/PhD research positions (Bosch, IU). Seniority runs the full range, from dual-study and associate tracks to Staff and Principal.
